And So It Begins...

Welcome to the home Blog of ZeePC, where every PC is a custom PC.
Please take the time to read the quality guarantee (1st post)

As you may or may not be aware, this is a very recent start up, it may or may not get up off of the ground.  With luck, hard work, dedication, and a love of Computer technology, hopefully something can really come out of this.

With that being said, let us introduce our current model in development.  Lets call it the,
Zee1000

Specifications:

  • The entire build will be based off of the incredibly powerful EVGA NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX Intel Motherboard which supports SLI linking of Video cards as well as blazing fast 3.0Gb/s SATA connections to keep you on the move, it will support up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, and have on board 10/100/1000 LAN speed, as well as 6 USB ports, and 7.1 Chanel audio.
  • The processor, Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale, is the winner of the consumer choice award. this next generation Intel processor, will feature a 3.0Ghz clock speed and super large 6MB L2 cache.  Overclockable to an incredible degree, the stock fan will not be used on this processor, it will be replaced by the...
  • ZALMAN 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler, which offers a unique design and almost complete copper construction will keep your Core cool in even the most intensive matches.
  • The mind bendingly fast Western Digital VelociRaptor 10000 RPM Hard drive should keep your files loading with virtually no lag.  a 16MB Cache helps keep the drive performing at its peak and the 3.0Gb/s SATA connection pairs perfectly with the motherboard, promising unsurpassed hardrive performance.  And with 300GB of file storage space, you never have to worry about running out of room.
  • Perhaps the most important part of a computer that's going to be pushed to its limit, would be the dual SLI linked Evga 8800GTS.  To keep the Frame rate high in any scenario, you need raw processing power and the storage to keep it in.  With the 8800GTS you get an insane video processing level as well as 512MB of memory per card, That gives you a whopping 1024MB of dedicated video memory.  With a core clock of 67o MHz, you never have to worry about video lag again.  And with two DVI ports and one HD port per card, you could attach a total of 4 individual monitors for some truly immersive feel.
  • The computers no good without a good source of power.  Would you buy a 50, ooo dollar car, and fill it with regular gas.  no, you would put premium.  And premium is the key word here with RAIDMAX QUANTUM 700W ATX12V power supply.  Giving you 700W of power to keep your system running at peak performance under any conditions.
  • OK now suppose you got all the parts together and hooked them up, what would you have? You would have a mess of cables and wires and chips that would A. look bad, B. Get hot quick and C. Burn out quicker. That's why the entire build goes into the sturdy acoustically cushioned interior of the COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000.  With four 120MM fans to keep air moving with minimal noise and acoustic dampening built in, you'll never hear your PC fan keeping you awake at night.  A cool silver design with two handles attached up top make sure you can show it off at the next LAN party while four USB 2.0 ports, 2 audio ports, 1 IEEE 139 port, and an eSATA port adorn the front to keep you connected where space is limited.
  • Other things included are the 4GB of DDR2 1066 G.Skill ram that will give you whopping speed and storage to keep you going and going as long as the match lasts.
Bear in mind that this computer setup will not be auctioned off until it is fully built, and tested.  It will have windows XP Professional included on it.  Estimated price at current time is $2000 USD. The full build (with pics) will be placed on this blog in a timely manner. Please leave any comments you feel like leaving as long as they are non-profane, intelligible comments.  Any suggestions for current or future builds can be placed in the comments for this post.  If anything changes or is altered, this page will update to reflect that.

The Zee1000PC will not come with any form of Zee1000Pc logo upon it.  It may have a logo on it that is from the original piece of hardware purchased. (EX: a cooler master case may have a cooler master logo on it) The Zee1000PC is not a brand, its just a system of numbers Iam going to use to keep track of computer builds. =)

Happy Bidding everyone!
